We Are Homegrown is the online sobriquet of Lewis Hay; a photographer and layabout based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

I sort of fell into photography because I’m too impatient to learn to draw.

This site serves as my collected works, photography and rambling prose. I don’t mind if you don’t read all the text, I write it because it exercises my brain (and keeps me sane).

I also maintain a Tumblr which is where I post all sorts intriguing and exciting… stuff.

Hopefully it will build into a collection of sources of creative inspiration, whether it’s architectural plans, illustration, skateboarding videos, fashion, furniture design or some bizarre, niche technological advance and some incredible, inspiring photography (no, not mine silly).
